Coach: Laura Martino, LMartino@d211.org and Michelle Holmes The competitive dance team performs at all the home football and basketball games throughout the school year. In the summer, the competitive dance team attends a dance camp where they are taught technical skills and new choreography. During the school year, the dance team performs routines which they choreograph to the school's marching band, and to recorded music. The dance team is also very competitive with other schools. Illinois Dance Team competitions are throughout January, February, and March. At the competitions we compete against other schools in order to qualify for the State Competition in Peoria. |
